Directions for use of Sambar Powder:
Fry 100gms of clean sliced onion in minimum quantity of edible oil to golden brown colour. Add to this 500 ml. Water (25 gms of cooked dal and 1/4 kg of vegetables may be added if desired) and allow to cook for 10 minutes. Now add 20 gms of Sambar Powder along with Tamarind, Tomato and required salt and again cook for 10 minutes. Now Sambar is ready to serve.

Coriander, Pulses, Chillies, Turmeric, Fennel, Cumin, Mustard, Curry Leaf, Hing, Salt etc.
