Vaidyaratnam Ashtavargam Kashayam / Ashtavargam Syrup
Vaidyaratnam Ashtavargam Kashayam is a traditional Ayurvedic herbal decoction specifically formulated to manage Vata disorders, particularly rheumatic ailments, joint stiffness, and muscle or nerve numbness. It is well-regarded for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Indications:
- Rheumatic Disorders: Provides relief from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, and ankylosing spondylitis.
- Neurological/Muscular Issues: Assists in the recovery of paralytic disorders and helps reduce muscle weakness.
- Pain & Numbness: Targets lack of sensation and peripheral numbness by improving local blood circulation.
Ingredients:
- Bala (Sida cordifolia)
- Sahachara (Barleria prionitis)
- Eranda (Ricinus communis)
- Sunthi (Zingiber officinale)
- Rasna (Alpinia galanga)
- Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)
- Nirgundi (Vitex negundo)
- Lasuna (Allium sativum)
Dosage:
- 10 to 15 ml for adults (or 5 to 10 ml for children).
- Mix the decoction with 3 to 4 times the quantity of lukewarm water.
- Best consumed twice daily on an empty stomach, about 1 hour before meals.
