Zandu Kanakasava

Kanakasava is a herbal self generated alcoholic liquid formulation.Widely used in the treatment of hemorrhoids.

Its usage:

1. Nikhilaan Shwaasaan – useful in wide variety of respiratory diseases  – asthma, bronchitis etc.
2. Kasa – useful in cold, cough
3. Yakshma – useful in tuberculosis
4. Kshataksheena – useful in emaciated people, useful in post injury care, useful in weight gaining therapy
5. Jeerna Jvara – useful in recuperation treatment after chronic fever
6. Raktapitta – useful in bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding
7. Urakshata – useful in chest injury

Dosage:

12 – 24 ml with equal quantity of water one or two times a day, after food or as directed by the physician.

Vyahgri – Kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum) – whole plant – 96 g

Keshara – Nagakeshara (Mesua ferrea) – stamen – 96 g

Vishvabheshaja – Shunti – Ginger – rhizome – 96 g

Bharngi (Clerodendrum serratum) – Root – 96 g

Talisapatra (Abies webbiana) – Leaf – 96 g

Dhataki (Woodfordia fruticosa) – Flower – 768 g

Draksha – raisins – dry fruits – 960 g

water – 24.576 liters,

Sharkara – Sugar – 4.8 kg

Kshaudra – Honey – 2.4 kg.
